I was a preemie back in '82 (Yup I'm ancient huh? lol) and that was before they did HIV/AIDS tests on blood regularly and many of the preemies in the NICU with me ended up contracting the disease for that reason. I never know what became of any of them but it's sad that they had their lives cut short before they ever really started, very much like your friend Adam. Anywho, your voice make me break out in goosebumps and I don't even like country music! You gotta gift girl. Love ya!

Your video and song were amazing! I love Reba. Did you ever see her in concert when she was still doing all the costume changes and special effects? When she sang that song, she was standing on something that slowly raised her up in the air. As she was going up, they had the AIDS quilt coming down around her. It was just some sort of special effects magic, but it was still absolutely amazing!

My daddy and my nephew have hemophilia (my sister & I are carriers of the disease). Daddy contracted what they called in 1979 Non A/Non B Hepatitis from tainted blood. Now it's called Hepatitis C. He was recently diagnosed with HCC which is liver cancer caused by Hep C all because of one contaminated blood transfusion.
What a beautiful tribute to your friend. I hope he knew how special you thought he was.
